Alkwiti — Trade Without Borders
FAQ

Clear answers to the questions that matter.

How Alkwiti works, what it costs, and what to expect — written to survive due diligence.

  • We focus on electronic products, components, equipment, parts and assemblies — from components and modules through to industrial equipment and specialized electronics. If a requirement is electronic, industrial or difficult to source reliably, it's worth a conversation.

  • Our focus is electronics and related industrial products. That focus is deliberate — it lets us evaluate suppliers with genuine technical and commercial understanding rather than treating everything as a generic commodity.

  • There isn't a strict minimum. Alkwiti tends to be most valuable for higher-value, bulk, recurring or hard-to-source requirements where supplier reliability and price optimization genuinely matter.

  • We use a straightforward sourcing commission model. We charge a reasonable commission for the sourcing value we create, rather than hiding margin inside product prices.

  • Typically 3–10%, depending on the sourcing requirement and engagement. It's a straightforward sourcing fee for the value we create, with no hidden sourcing charges.

  • Shipping is a separate, actual third-party cost. Alkwiti does not add an additional sourcing commission to shipping. Customs and duties are also separate destination-related costs.

  • Alkwiti helps identify and facilitate procurement from suitable manufacturers and suppliers. The exact transaction structure depends on the engagement — but the buyer remains the purchaser.

  • Where appropriate, we evaluate business identity, supplier legitimacy, capability and history. We describe this as evaluation and verification rather than an absolute guarantee of supplier performance.
